Military and Defense Parylene Conformal Coating

F35-right-bank_v1

Sensitive, mission-critical devices and systems used in military and defense applications demand the very best in conformal coating protection. Parylene guards military and defense equipment against the effects of harsh environmental extremes.

Vacuum-deposited Parylene conformal coating exceeds the performance of liquid conformal coatings in most of the critical categories. This exceptional coating performance is crucial for critical military and defense assemblies when repair is impractical and the operational cost of failure would be unacceptably high. Unlike alternate coatings, CWST’s QPL rated Parylene film has no cure phase, and creates no mechanical or thermal stresses on delicate structures.

CWST has decades of experience in Parylene coating military and defense equipment and is fully qualified to all pertinent industry standards, including ISO 9001, ISO13845 and is ITAR registered. Our national Parylene coating center has quality management systems (QMS) certified to aerospace standard AS9100, and Parylene technicians are trained to meet IPC-J-STD001, IPC-A610 and Mil Spec standards.
