High Risk Electronics and PCB Conformal Coating Services
In the age of personal electronic devices, the need for effective PCB conformal coating extends to consumer goods as well as traditional military, aerospace, industrial and medical systems. Parylene conformal coatings are up to the task, delivering dependable protection against moisture, gases, solvents, corrosives and temperature extremes. A Parylene coating adds almost no mass or weight to compact, high-risk devices, and ensures effective environmental protection.
Since Parylene film is applied at room temperature under vacuum conditions and is formed with no cure phase or thermal stresses, it is ideal for delicate micro miniature assemblies. The inert conformal coating provides highly uniform coverage across planar surfaces, in deep crevices and around sharp edges. It has high dielectric value even in very thin layers (∼5KV/mil).
CWST’s materials and processes conform to rigorous manufacturing standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO13845. Our national Parylene conformal coating centers operate under quality management systems (QMS) certified to aerospace standard AS9100, and Parylene technicians are trained to meet IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 requirements.
